The Annual Trade Show managed by the Canterbury & Westland Branch of
ECANZ will be held in Christchurch on Thursday 29th July 2010. We may have a
limited number of sites available for this year’s Trade Show and invite you to
register your interest in exhibiting your company at the Show. In keeping with
the aim of providing the best venue and best available conditions for our
exhibitors and visitors, we have two floors of exhibition space. This has
increased the minimum size of the sites and increased the floor area around many
of the sites. Every year we try and have a suitable theme which is of interest
to the general electrical industry. Along with this we have a breakfast session
to which Architects, Engineers, Consultants and business principals are invited.
You may be familiar with our successful Trade Show concept but to refresh your
memory here are some important facts.
The Venue
Stewards and Members Stand, Addington Raceway, Christchurch
A modern building, fully carpeted and air-conditioned. Plenty of on site parking
adjacent to the venue. Access via lift, escalator and stairways is excellent.
Who comes
Upwards of 1000 visitors have signed the visitors book at previous Trade Shows.
We attract electricians, electrical contractors, industrial electricians and
technicians, electrical suppliers, wholesalers, designers, consultants and
architects, switchboard builders and other OEM’s from all over the South Island.
Out of town wholesalers arrange buses for their customers to come to
Christchurch for the Trade Show.
Who exhibits
A comprehensive cross section of the electrical supply and service industry and
many other specialist companies including your competitors. In fact any company
wishing to increase their exposure and sales in the South Island electrical
industry must be seen at the Trade Show.
This year there are 20% new exhibitors
Cost
An approximate all inclusive price ranging from $600 to $1800 plus GST depending
on size of site.
What do I get
A bare space with a back wall only (we prefer the open plan style, no stables).
A supply of tables and chairs is available on request. Single phase power is
supplied to each site with three phase power and extra lighting available on
request at an additional cost. Tea and Coffee is available all day with biscuits
for morning tea and sandwiches and savouries for afternoon tea. A hot sit down
exhibitors lunch is provided and extra lunch vouchers are available for purchase
to entertain your VIP’s.
Some six weeks before the Trade Show you will be supplied with personal
invitations and coloured posters for distribution to your clients. All South
Island wholesalers are similarly issued with posters and invitations and local
ECANZ members are regularly kept posted by newsletter etc.
Visitor incentives by way of prizes are offered to visitors who register in the
visitors book. A free A4 sized magazine style Show Guide is issued to all
visitors as they arrive.
When
The Show this year will be held on 29th July 2010 from 9.30am to 8.30pm with set
up the day before and breakdown the day after.
The building is secure.
What next
Please complete the registration form (listed at bottom of the page) as soon as
possible. We are limited to 75 sites the majority already having been taken by
last years exhibitors.
