Ecanz Excellence Awards 2010
The ECANZ Excellence Awards is a biennial celebration of New Zealand’s outstanding
Master Electricians.
The Awards Dinner is the culmination of a judging process of many electrical projects
from across New Zealand ranging from domestic fit outs, to large commercial and
industrial work.
The Awards Dinner is being held at the Hyatt Regency Auckland on Wednesday
13 October 2010
The projects are judged on a variety of criteria including quality workmanship;
management and commercial skills; application of new products, processes and emerging
technologies; and compliance with health and safety policies and procedures.
Projects must have been completed between 1 January 2007 and 31 March 2010 and be submitted to ECANZ by 31 May 2010.
There are seven award categories
- Corys Electrical Award – open to a sole trader or a small business.
- Ideal Electrical Supplies Medium Contract Award - open to medium sized projects
(contract less than $500,000).
- Powerbase Major Contract Award – open to major projects (contract over $500,000).
- NHP Industrial Automation Award – open to new or upgrade automation projects from
the industrial sector.
- Future Proof Building Energy Efficiency Award – open to all projects incorporating
‘future proof’ technology designed to create energy efficiency.
- Philips Lighting Award – open to projects which focus on the use of design and energy
efficient technologies to produce outstanding lighting.
- ETCO Excellence Award – Overall award given to the category winner who exemplifies
excellence in the electrical industry.
