The Electrical Contractors Association of New Zealand has a membership of 1,600 businesses, its members employ 7,000 electrical workers and have total annual combined sales of $800 million.

ECANZ has ten Branches in a nationwide network of electrical businesses operating under the MASTERelectricians brand. MASTERelectrician Contractors are the professionals of the electrical trade and with ECANZ's organisational strength behind them, specifying a MASTERelectrician Contractor is your safeguard against sub-standard workmanship.

The Association's members at present employ in excess of 1,500 apprentices and this is 78% of the national total. The Association owns the Electrical Training Company Limited which employs some 300 electrical apprentices who are seconded to industry. The Training Company also has New Zealand Qualification Authority accreditation as a training provider and is presently involved in the off-job training of some 1500 apprentices nation-wide.
